When something important is happening in or near our area, getting the message quickly matters. CodeRED is a community emergency notification system designed to help keep you and your family informed during urgent situations.
What is CodeRED?
CodeRED is a location-based alert system used by local public safety agencies to send notifications to residents in affected areas. That means you’re not getting blasted with alerts for things happening across the county – you’ll get the messages that apply to where you are.
Alerts can be delivered in multiple ways, including:
- Mobile app notifications
- SMS text messages
- Email (and more)
You’re in control of what you receive
One of the best parts: you can choose the types of alerts you want – everything from general community information to emergency alerts.
What kinds of alerts does CodeRED send?
Depending on the situation, alerts can include things like:
- Wildfire
- Flood
- Boil advisories
- Criminal activity
- Missing person/children
- Evacuation notices
How to sign up (it’s quick)
- Visit the signup page:
https://accountportal.onsolve.net/littleriveracademytx - Add your contact methods (text/email/etc.)
- Choose your alert preferences
Want the mobile app too? The CodeRED app is available on the App Store and Google Play.
Do you have to download the app?
Nope – good news: the app is not required to receive alerts.
You can still get notifications through other methods like text and email.
