Little River-Academy Police Department, TexasChief Lee Dixon, Born with a soul that has Courage to wear the Badge, Chief Dixon was a long-serving Law Enforcement Officer hired on as Chief Of Police for Little River-Academy PD.

Chief Lee had previously worked for the department for 10 years and in 2004 - 2005, he served as Chief but then he went to work for the Milam County Sheriff's Office.
Lee retired from the SO and then was asked to come back to the Little River-Academy PD. Chief Dixon was the only full-time Officer for Little River-Academy PD in this town of approximately 2.000 residents.
He began his LE career as a Correctional Officer for Bell County SO. Lee leaves behind his beloved bride and family.
Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Dixon family, the town of Little River-Academy, the Men and Women of the Bell County and Milam County SOs, the Bartlett and Holland PDs, the Texas Rangers, and to all who have had the pleasure and the privilege of knowing and working alongside this True Blue Hero.
